the new swiss senator, business and first class lounges for long-haul passengers are located directly above the departure hall on the 3rd floor of the midfield terminal. the lounges were planned and designed by greutmann bolzern designstudio, a studio already experienced in this field. back in 2006, they were responsible for the realization of the swiss first class check-in in terminal a. but also on board the design of carmen and urs greutmann is present with the newly designed tableware of the swiss business class. on both occasions their concepts prevailed in invited competitions.

covering a total area of 3300m2, carmen and urs greutmann developed a so-called multi-space concept. flowing, open spaces, always well-proportioned, create a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. floors of dark oak correspond with furniture and fittings, mostly held in golden oak and accentuated with black and white elements.
